Jayce

Light, airy and spacious The Redwoods has shaken off the institutional feel of most Mental Health establishments. Bedrooms are single with en suites, and well decorated. Artwork is prevalent throughout the building, some commissioned and some by inpatients. Each ward has its own garden area. Activities on the wards are varied and inpatients are encouraged to put forward their own views at weekly ward meetings. Carers and visitors are made welcome, inpatients are involved in their own care plans, and the general ambience is one of hope and cheerfulness.

I'm absolutely disgusted, my son has threatened suicide where the police have had to attend twice within the last two weeks. He was assessed and despite the fact that he's threatened to do it again and made many threats, they let him go with a referral to the Crisis team!!!!!!! He clearly needs help and they turned him away. Where the hell are you supposed to go for help.
